Grammar Work

We are going to begin our big grammar review for the end of the year. Use this document to get started. Find the prepositional phrases, subjects, verbs, PAs, PNs, DOs, IOs, adjectives, adverbs, and decide how the prepositional phrases are functioning. Use your flip as you look through this as review. Be prepared to discuss the first 5 in class tomorrow. Whether you print this off and actually mark it or just visually go through it is up to you. Just do it in a way that works and helps you review. Click on EXPAND for a larger view, and if at some point you get a box that has weird tools on it, click the x in the top right corner to make it go away.

Shakespeare Letters

Our next writing assignment is going to be a letter you write as your character in your play to another character in your play. You'll be practicing the friendly letter format and demonstrating your understanding of your character. These are fun to write, and my goal is for you to have fun thinking about what and to whom your character would write. We'll talk more about these on Friday. Be thinking!
